Hi, I'm Jessica

** PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL BE ON EXTENDED LEAVE FROM MAY 2024.

Human beings are unique individuals who face similar challenges, with each experience impacting our lives in different ways.

Taking the first step and reaching out for help is a sign of incredible strength and courage. I'm genuinely excited to be here for you on this journey, creating a safe and welcoming space where you can find support.

It can be overwhelming and daunting to find a therapist who understands you, your story and your life. You don’t want the “cookie cutter”answers or quick fixes because it feeds into the dissatisfaction and feelings of being unheard.

I’m so glad you’re here.

As a registered psychologist and a devoted mother to my beautiful little girl, I have my own lived experience of both trauma and an eating disorder, and this has only fed my desire to help those who may be experiencing their own challenges, as I am aware that therapy has the power to change one’s life for the better.

My professional journey has revolved around individual psychotherapy as well as employee assistance program counselling with people across the lifespan. With my focus being on adolescents and adults.

A key component of effective therapy is ensuring the relationship between client and therapist feels right. I aim to work collaboratively with you to identify concerns in your life causing distress and to evaluate effective strategies to facilitate your personal growth and development.

I do not take a "one size fits all" approach with my clients, my practice is informed by evidence-based techniques, including solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

My Approach

I believe that people should be the author of their own lives, and therefore enjoy implementing a collaborative strengths-based approach catering to each persons individual needs. This centres around the principles of education, support, and empowerment, with the ultimate goal of helping you unlock your full potential. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

I pride myself on creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can address their mental health needs without judgement.
