Hi, I'm Brittany

For some of us, warrior mode is easy. It's tenderness that is hard.

Hi! I'm Britt. I'm a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for supporting people who are exhausted by the pressure to do everything perfectly and keep everyone around them happy.

Much of my work focuses on people-pleasing and perfectionism - patterns that often look like strength from the outside, but can quietly drive anxiety, burnout, and a deep sense of not being enough. I work with clients who are ready to understand where these patterns come from and build a more authentic, sustainable way of living.

As a mother myself, I love working with new mums. If you identify as a perfectionist, adjusting to motherhood can feel extra hard because there is so much out of your control. The reality is that it is okay to admit that motherhood is a whirlwind of tough emotions - and you are not alone in feeling overwhelmed.

I also have a particular heart for working with Christian clients. Faith can be a profound source of strength and meaning, and I welcome the opportunity to hold space for that in our work together - whether that's exploring how your beliefs intersect with your mental health, or simply working with a psychologist who understands and respects your worldview.

My Approach

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy - two evidence-based frameworks that work well together to create both practical change and deeper understanding. CBT helps you notice and shift the thought patterns and behaviours that keep you stuck, while Schema Therapy goes a layer deeper, exploring the early experiences that shaped how you see yourself and the world. Together, these approaches offer a path that is both structured and exploratory - helping you not just manage symptoms, but genuinely understand yourself and transform the way you feel.

Please note that there are some areas I do not work in: Schizophrenia, eating disorders, alcohol and drug use, suicidality and self-harm.
