Hi, I'm Dian

With over 15 years of dedicated clinician, I offer compassionate, ethical, and professional psychological therapy, thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. My work is deeply rooted in the belief that healing is a journey — one that requires courage, patience, and genuine human connection. I walk alongside my clients with a heart of compassion, supporting them at their own pace and honouring their readiness for change.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working across various private practices, corporate organisational psychology sectors, the education sectors, and residential aged care settings. The richness of my encounters with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and individuals with special needs — including those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds — has given me both breadth and depth in working with a wide range of clinical presentations and therapeutic approaches. My practice is inclusive and committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible to all.

I support clients facing a wide range of challenges, including:
 Anxiety and panic attacks,
 Depression,
 Social withdrawal and avoidance,
 Adjustment difficulties and life transitions,
 Mood dysregulation,
 ADHD and behavioural concerns,
 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD),
 Support during pregnancy, as well as antenatal and postnatal emotional wellbeing,
 Low motivation and self-esteem,
 Resilience-building and confidence,
 Academic and learning difficulties,
 Procrastination and perfectionism,
 Relationships, attachment, and interpersonal issues,
 Peer conflict and bullying,
 Cultural and social adjustment,
 Parenting stress and guidance,
 Somatic symptoms and negative thought patterns.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centred, underpinned by evidence-based frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness. I am also trained in parenting programmes including Triple P, Nurtured Heart, and 123 Magic Parenting.

I aim to empower clients through personalised, effective, and meaningful support—helping them move towards greater wellbeing, confidence, and hope.

Counselling can be provided both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Balancing a fulfilling professional role with the joys of motherhood and marriage, I try to embrace life with creativity, curiosity, and compassion. Whether I’m experimenting in the kitchen, swimming, journalling, or getting lost in a diamond painting project, I find joy in self-expression and life’s simple pleasures. Travelling is my greatest passion—exploring new places, soaking up beautiful sights, and tasting the flavours of different cultures fills me with wonder. I enjoy learning languages, connecting with people from all walks of life, and uncovering the stories that make each destination unique.

Giving back to the community is close to my heart, and I value every opportunity to make a meaningful difference. For me, life is a tapestry of experiences — each one offering a chance to grow, connect, and create lasting memories.

My Approach

We all experience moments where our choices don't align with our happiness, or when the weight of the past feels overwhelming. It’s in these times that having someone to confide in makes all the difference. While strength and resilience carry us far, sharing the journey can lighten the load. If you're reading this, you’re ready to take that step toward professional support. So let's embark on this journey together — addressing your challenges, both past and present, and building steps towards a more fulfilling life.
"Learn from your mistakes, focus on your growth. Let's explore your next chapter and take steps toward a more fulfilling life." ~~~ Warm regards, Dian.

P.S. After-hours sessions are offered under exceptional circumstances and on a case-by-case basis. Should you require an after-hours appointment, please discuss this directly with me.
