Hi, I'm Eshmin

I am a friendly, compassionate and respectful psychologist who has worked with a broad range of presenting concerns and diverse populations across the lifespan (in particular, adolescents, adults and older adults) in the public, private and university wellness centre environment. I also have vast experience with Employee Assistance Programmes and have worked a number of years in the corporate sector. My relaxed but focused approach allows my clients to feel safe and understood whilst they explore their concerns. My aim is to make you comfortable and heard whilst I empower you to find your best self.

My Approach

I use evidence-based strategies and an individually tailored approach to assist clients to meet their goals .I have worked with a number of presenting difficulties including but not limited to; anxiety, stress, depression, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, anger management, academic and work related issues, grief and loss, self harming behaviours, procrastination, self esteem issues and emotion dysregulation. I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Framework as well as Person-Centred Therapy, and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, with elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Strategies.
