Hi, I'm Angela

Navigating life’s many stressors and sharing our vulnerabilities with others is challenging for the majority of people. I recognise that seeking professional mental health support takes courage and is a unique experience for each individual.

I aim to provide a warm and non-judgemental environment where you can feel safe and comfortable to share your own journey, and gain the inner strength to overcome life difficulties.

I work with a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, family and interpersonal relationship difficulties, adjustment difficulties/ life transition challenges, and career changes. My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual’s needs and circumstances, but is also grounded in evidence based therapies to ensure treatment success.

I am have a keen interest in neurodiversity (with lived experience) and practice a neuro-affirming approach to therapy when working with neurodivergent clients.

I also have expertise working with clients affected by work related stress/burnout, and adjustments difficulties associated with physical injuries acquired at work.

My Approach

My approach is collaborative and motivating, where I will work with you to identify realistic mental health goals and create a treatment plan in line with these goals.

My ultimate goal is to leave you with the necessary tools to manage your mental health throughout life and create long lasting change.

I draw on a range of evidence based psychological therapies including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (Trauma), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness Based Therapy.
