Hi, I'm Martin

Hi, I’m Martin — a registered psychologist with a passion for helping people make sense of their inner world and life story. My focus is on deeper, long-term therapy for those who don't want short-term fixes but instead are ready to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.

I work best with clients who are reflective thinkers, emotionally curious, and often carrying an invisible weight — a sense of loneliness, disconnection, or lack of fulfilment that can’t easily be explained. Some clients have been in and out of therapy before, but found the approaches too solution-focused or superficial to create lasting change.

My therapeutic style is relational, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming. I bring a calm, thoughtful presence and aim to help guide you on a journey to aid awareness and understanding of root causes, identify what you might need, and alter long term patterns.

While I don’t pretend to be the expert in your life, I’ll walk alongside you as you become more fully the expert in your own.

My Approach

My core orientation is psychodynamic therapy, drawing on relational psychoanalysis and schema therapy. I help clients understand and gently shift lifelong emotional patterns — particularly those rooted in early relationships or unmet emotional needs.

You won’t find quick tips, homework sheets or rigid programs here. Instead, we’ll explore your experiences, patterns, and relationships at a pace that feels right for you. Our work together may involve themes of identity, shame, belonging, emotional intimacy, and meaning.

If you’re ready to go deeper — to reflect, understand, and gradually reshape how you live and connect — I’d love to support that journey.
