Hi, I'm Natalia

I enjoy working with all neurotypes and have a special interest in supporting adults who identify as neurodivergent, for example individuals who are autistic and/or who are struggling with ADHD symptoms. I provide therapy for a wide range of difficulties, such as self-esteem issues, chronic health concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, emotion regulation difficulties, grief and loss, chronic pain, sleep disturbance, burnout, workplace issues.

I want to go beyond coping and help people build lives that bring them joy, because coping is not the same as being happy. I work with my clients at a deeper level, by exploring the emotions and unmet needs underlying their issues, as well as processing past trauma if the client wishes to do so.

For example, the focus can be on developing a stronger sense of self, or rebuilding a sense of self that has been shattered by difficult life experiences. I also support my clients with improving their interpersonal relationships and making life changes that are aligned with who they want to be and what they want to stand for.

I conduct therapy in English, French and Romanian. Having lived in three different countries, I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds.

My Approach

I aim to stay present with the client’s thoughts and feelings, creating a safe space where the person feels that they are not alone on their journey. I am a big believer in working together as a team.

My therapy approach is trauma informed and rooted in attachment science. I work primarily within a Schema Therapy framework. I also draw from Emotion Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients further understand themselves and connect with their experience moment by moment. For trauma processing I integrate EMDR therapy into the treatment.

For more practical strategies to foster emotion regulation and behavioural change, I typically incorporate into the treatment interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

*Please note that as my main area of interest is psychotherapy, I do not provide medico-legal reports, or formal diagnostic assessment for autism and ADHD.
