Hi, I'm Rachel

I'd love to support you. Have a read about me and if I feel like the right fit, just reach out and we will take it from there. What makes therapy with me different? You are not a diagnosis or a label to me. You are wonderfully unique - this I will honour and respect.

I'm a mum, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend... I've loved and I've lost in my life, just like you. I know pain and fear. I get it. Sometimes we just can't do it on our own, and that's more than OK.

I have extensive experience and training as a mental health practitioner, having completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology; a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (Honours); and a Graduate Diploma in Trauma-Informed Processwork Psychotherapy. I am a registered Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). My training includes a wide variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also have a special interest in the area of Process-Oriented Psychology.

I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents and adults, and am especially passionate about helping females to realise independence, empowerment and self-love.

I have worked in a range of settings, including private education institutions, not-for-profit organisations and private practice. I am also a volunteer with the Raise Foundation, supporting local community high school students.

My Approach

My goal is to bring greater awareness and balance into your life. I don't want you to remain stuck. Let's create shifts, movement and clarity together. We won't just talk in our sessions. Therapy with me is an immersive, deep and interactive process. Expect to use art, role play, Dreamwork, symbol work, meditation and inner-journey tools to shine a light onto what needs to be healed.
