Hi, I'm Sarah

I create a judgment-free space where clients' experiences are validated and strengths are recognised. My approach integrates evidence-based interventions with trauma-informed care that respects clients' autonomy and builds on their existing resilience. Whether seeking diagnostic clarity, therapeutic support, or workplace assessment, clients receive thorough, compassionate, and practical guidance.

My practice emerged from extensive experience working across healthcare and justice systems and organisations, where I witnessed firsthand the profound impact of workplace culture on mental health. This background uniquely positions me to support clients experiencing work-related psychological challenges whilst also addressing broader mental health concerns.

I hold full AHPRA registration with organisational psychology endorsement and have completed both a Master's and PhD in psychology. My research has contributed multiple peer-reviewed publications, ensuring my practice remains grounded in current evidence and advances in psychological science. I have worked in leadership roles managing complex organisational change initiatives, which deepens my understanding of the systemic factors that influence individual wellbeing.

My practice creates a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their challenges, develop insight into their strengths, and build sustainable strategies for wellbeing. I emphasise collaborative power-sharing, ensuring you maintain agency over the pace and direction of our work together. Therapy is not something I do to you, but something we navigate together. Above all, I bring cultural humility, collaborative partnership, and an unwavering belief that healing happens when people feel genuinely safe, heard, and empowered.

My Approach

I work with adults facing diverse challenges: workplace stress and burnout, anxiety and depression, trauma and Complex PTSD, adjustment disorders, career stagnation or transition, and relationship difficulties. I use and integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, client-centred approaches, and trauma-informed care tailored to each client's needs.

I also provide specialised services including neurodiversity-affirming adult ADHD and autism assessments and therapeutic support that honour clients' lived experiences whilst offering clarity and validation. My workplace psychology expertise enables me to conduct robust fitness-to-work and return-to-work assessments, as well as prepare comprehensive psychological reports for legal proceedings including workers' compensation and Fair Work matters.

I recognise that workplace trauma involves not just incidents but organisational responses and power dynamics. Whether addressing PTSD, workplace injuries, or career transitions, I attend to both individual experience and broader context that shapes wellbeing.
