Hi, I'm Vinusha

A holistic practitioner passionate about supporting mental health and overall wellbeing. I take an integrative approach that values the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle. My goal is to empower individuals to understand themselves better, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

In my work, I value taking the time to get to know each client and understanding the unique circumstances that have shaped their journey. I believe that meaningful therapy starts with a deep appreciation of each person’s story, strengths, and challenges. I take a psychosocial approach to assessment, which means I consider all the social, emotional, and environmental factors that may be influencing your mental health. This helps ensure that the support I provide is realistic, practical, and aligned with the direction you want to take. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to create sustainable, positive changes that support your overall wellbeing—not just in the short term, but for the long run. Outside of work, I recharge by spending time with my partner and family. I also love getting outside for regular runs, which I see as an important part of managing my own mental health. When I’m not working, spending time with family or running, you’ll probably find me hunting down the best sandwiches/toasties Melbourne has to offer—there’s nothing like discovering a new favourite spot!

My Approach

My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). I work in a person-centred and collaborative way, tailoring each session to suit your individual needs, strengths, and values. Therapy is goal-oriented, with a strong focus on practical strategies and sustainable change. I aim to support you in building insight, resilience, and progress toward the life you want to lead—emotionally, mentally, and in your everyday functioning.
