Hi, I'm Aksana

Hi there! I see you have found yourself looking for support.
Nice work getting this far; welcome back if you have been here before.
Whether you are searching for support because you wanted to or have been encouraged by someone else to reach out- you’re here now, lets make the most of it.

I'm Aksana, (Said Axe-ah-na). I'm a Psychologist with additional training in Family and Couples work, Sleep Difficulties, Eating Difficulties, Trauma experiences, Mood difficulties amongst other things.

In my career so far I have provided services for and worked in a variety of settings such as: Correctional Facilities, Schools, Health Facilities, Private Practice; Mining; Defence; Not for Profit, Corporate spaces, and running my own practice.

My time so far has included the privilege of working with children, teenagers, adults, and older adults. Ive enjoyed working with individuals, couples or dyads, families, and delivering group programs.

Born in the 80s and working in Mental Health since 2012 means i have lived life and worked with many people in many places while acknowledging I also have much more learning to do.

While my training has been based in Western Australia I have lived in different states of Australia across the course of my life. My family is European in origin as such I have an understanding of the complexities that come with this, as well as exposure to religious and spiritual influences.

I enjoy time in nature with my loved ones including my two dogs.
