Hi, I'm Amber

I am a Registered Psychologist with eight years experience working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. I am a warm, empathic clinician with a passion for meeting and understanding clients “where they are at” with life’s challenges and walking alongside them to learn ways to better cope, achieve goals, and thrive.

I have experience working with clients presenting with a range of difficulties including anxiety and mood disorders, adjustment, relationship difficulties, health behaviour change and anger, and have an interest in perinatal and postnatal mental health and adjustment to parenthood.

My Approach

I am a client-centred, non-judgemental clinician, acknowledging that each of us have individual needs, goals and experiences in life. I enjoy collaborating with clients, providing a safe, comfortable space to better understand themselves and facilitate change.

I utilise a variety of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focussed Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing and integrate Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness strategies.
