Hi, I'm Bianca

I believe that seeing a psychologist is not about changing who you are, but about understanding yourself more deeply, recognising your strengths and finding ways to navigate life's challenges that work for you. I aim to build a genuine therapeutic connection, support emotional awareness and regulation, and help individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.

I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, understood and supported. It is important to me to ensure every one of my clients feels comfortable and safe to be their authentic selves. I recognise that experiences such as anxiety, stress, depression, trauma and significant life transitions can affect people in different ways. My approach is guided by curiosity, compassion and respect for each person's experiences, working at a pace that feels appropriate for them.

I have experience working in private practice supporting both adolescents and adults, working in schools, and working with offending behaviours. I have found that therapy is most meaningful when it reflects the person sitting in front of me. I value getting to know each individual's interests, as these interests can become valuable tools for connection, helping us explore emotions, relationships and life experiences in ways that feel relatable, comfortable and authentic. My aim is to meet each person where they are and build on what makes them unique.

Outside of psychology, you'll find me lost in a good book, finding ways to move my body or spending time with the people around me. I believe that looking after our own wellbeing is an important part of being able to support others, and I value making time to recharge, connect and engage in the things that fill my cup.

My Approach

As a psychologist, I take a warm, compassionate, human, and collaborative approach to therapy, recognising that every individual has their own unique experiences, strengths and needs. I draw on evidence-based psychological approaches while placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of my work, creating a space where adults and adolescents can feel comfortable being themselves.
