Hi, I'm Dania

I work with adults, older adults, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative, drawing on evidence-based therapies such as CBT and ACT. I aim to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

I am a Registered Psychologist who values authenticity, curiosity, and genuine human connection. I believe that therapy works best when people feel comfortable enough to be themselves, without fear of judgement.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I work with clients to understand their experiences, identify strengths, and develop strategies that are realistic and meaningful for their everyday lives. I recognise that seeking support can be a significant step, and I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.

Over the years, I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. These experiences have reinforced my belief that everyone has a unique story, and that there is no one size fits-all approach to therapy. I tailor my work to each individual, drawing on evidence-based approaches while remaining flexible to their goals and circumstances.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from Aston University in the United Kingdom and a Master of Counselling from Monash University. I am a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and am currently undertaking a Master of Clinical Psychology.

Outside of work, I value family, lifelong learning, and maintaining a sense of humour. I believe that meaningful change often begins with feeling understood, and I consider it a privilege to support people as they navigate challenges, build resilience, and move towards the life they want to create.

My Approach

My approach is centred on building a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship. I believe that feeling heard, understood, and accepted is an important foundation for meaningful change. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace.

I work collaboratively with clients, recognising that they are the experts in their own lives. My role is to listen, support, and help clients develop greater insight, resilience, and practical strategies to navigate challenges. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that is tailored to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
