Hi, I'm Don

Love, happiness, joy, connection, fulfillment, acceptance; we all know it, we all want it and we all have our own way of experiencing it.
There are times in all our lives that this doesn't seem possible.
I work with people in those times to assist them in uncovering and deepening this true nourishment.

I have worked in Mental Health for over 20 years, working in many roles and with a great diversity of issues, diagnoses and populations. This experience, and that of being a human on this planet, has taught me that change can occur very quickly. A moment of insight can undo a lifetime of concern.

I believe I am open, honest, direct, compassionate and humorous. My clients seem to agree -maybe not so much about being humorous :)

I consider it my role to gently help you discover what it is you are truly looking for. I welcome EVERYTHING so you can really be yourself. I have no expectations of our time together except that it be beneficial and useful for you.

For me it is a privilege to be a part of this process and to be a trusted ally and witness to your journey.

My Approach

I have a down-to-earth easy going style that focuses on connection.
My approach is to look at the present. What is happening now? What are your concerns? How would you like things to be different? Past events and future plans may emerge from this but they are not necessarily the focus.
I have a solution based approach that incorporates elements of many approaches. These include: Clinical Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, ACT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and relaxation.
I am client- focussed. I learn from you what is working.
