Hi, I'm Emily

Hello! My name is Emily. I am a warm and caring psychologist with extensive experience in mental health. I'm passionate about supporting my clients to become better versions of themselves and tackle life's challenges.

As a clinical psychologist registrar, I bring years of experience both in private practice and community. I work with older adolescents (17+), adults and couples on their mental health, emotional and relationship issues.

My passion is helping people improve their self-esteem, motivation, work stress and relationship issues. I am skilled in the assessment and treatment of Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Depression and personality disorders.

I have specialised training in schema therapy, which explores long-term patterns of behaviour, and helps to change these.

I also enjoy working with couples on changing their relationship dynamics and resolving their differences. I am skilled with culturally sensitive issues, coming from a multicultural perspective.

My Approach

I use a practical and person-centred approach in my practice, seeking to understand my clients' priorities for care and helping guide them along the way. I believe in a balance of teaching practical skills, such as emotion regulation and interpersonal skills, with understanding my clients' unique stories and exploring their deeper psychology, to help them move forward with their lives.
