Hi, I'm Emma

I have a genuine, non-judgmental approach, while maintaining an open and honest, professional relationship. I remain supportive while offering proactive and realistic guidance to adults of all ages. I provide consultation for those struggling with life’s stressors through to intensive therapy for serious mental health conditions and complex personality disorders. I am a consultant and forensic psychologist with a background in corrections.

My Approach

I utilise evidence-based practice, tailoring the therapeutic approach to suit the individual’s needs and presenting problems. I use a combination of modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Brief Solution-Focussed Therapy. I offer psychoeducation and therapy to clients presenting with a range of psychological issues including difficulties with managing emotions, substance misuse and addiction, ongoing depression and passive suicidal ideation, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and self-harming behaviour.
