Hi, I'm Ethan

I’m Ethan, a registered psychologist based in Central Victoria. I work with adults across Australia via telehealth, including people dealing with trauma, anxiety, low mood, workplace stress and major life changes. I aim to offer a calm, practical space where you can talk openly, make sense of what’s been happening and work towards changes that feel useful in your day-to-day life.

I’ve been working as a psychologist for over two years, in both private practice and correctional settings. I’ve met people dealing with all sorts of challenges, and I’ve found that what helps one person might not be right for someone else. I like taking the time to understand the person, not just the problem they’ve come in with.

I especially enjoy working with people who have experienced trauma or are trying to adjust after a difficult or unexpected change. That might be a distressing event, a workplace injury, a relationship ending, or a period where life feels very different from what you’d planned. I also work with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress and difficulties with confidence or relationships.

I aim to be down to earth, thoughtful and easy to talk to. I want you to feel that you can be honest with me, including when something feels uncomfortable or isn’t quite working. I’ll listen, ask questions and offer ideas, but the focus stays on what matters to you. There’s no need to have everything sorted before you reach out.

My Approach

I place a lot of importance on the relationship we build in therapy. My approach is humanistic, evidence-based and flexible. Some people prefer open conversations, while others find it helpful to have more structure and clear goals. We can work out together what feels useful for you.
