Hi, I'm Garry

I am committed to providing respectful, compassionate, and outcome-focused support that empowers clients to move toward greater wellbeing, clarity, and connection in their lives.

I am a registered psychologist with extensive experience working across private practice, community health, trauma-informed care, and multidisciplinary settings, supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families through a broad range of psychological presentations and life challenges. My work is grounded in a relational, transparent, and collaborative approach, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe and authentic therapeutic space where clients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in shaping meaningful shared goals.

My Approach

I believe therapy works best when it is built on trust, curiosity, and genuine human connection. I aim to support clients in developing greater self-understanding, emotional flexibility, resilience, and confidence, while recognising the unique experiences, strengths, and identities each person brings into the therapeutic process. My approach is adaptable and person-centred, drawing from evidence-based modalities while remaining responsive to each client’s individual needs, pace, and preferences.

It has reinforced the importance of self-determination, ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples remain empowered, respected, and central in decisions regarding their care and wellbeing.
