Hi, I'm Grace

My name is Grace, I am a Generally Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). I have several years of experience across a variety of clinical settings, working with people of a diverse range of ages and backgrounds. I am passionate about assisting people to create change in their lives in whatever form is most meaningful to them. In working with me, you can expect that I will provide a safe and supportive environment to discuss difficult emotions. We will work together to understand your current experience and collaboratively find a way forward for you to be able to create the change that you seek. I have experience in a variety of theraputic interventions, enabling me to provide you with the type of help that will best suit you.

My Approach

I use individually tailored, evidence-based approaches to help my clients gain a better understanding of their difficulties. As part of this process, I help clients develop effective ways of conceptualising and responding to their stressors. I have experience in a broad range of presenting issues including but not limited to, stress, anxiety, mood disorders, workplace issues, parenting, relationship and communication difficulties, sleep issues, and burnout.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic interventions, which allows me to tailor treatment for each client. The intervention approach that I use with any given client is a collaborative decision based on the presenting issues, previous therapy, and the individual and personality factors of the client. Some of the frameworks that I typically work within include; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Behaviour Support, and Solution Focused Therapy.

We will work together to understand your current experience and collaboratively find a way forward for you to be able to create the change that you seek.
