Hi, I'm Guillaume

I'm a Clinical Psychologist based in Perth (WA) with extensive experience in complex psychological presentations. I've been a psychologist for over 16 years, working within hospitals, community settings, and private practice.

I emigrated with my family from South Africa in 2022, and have made Australia my new home. I'm a passionate person, and love my role as a psychologist to support clients through their personal journeys. I try to be genuine, and treat every client with reverence and respect to encourage safety, honesty and trust.

Beyond the consulting room I love keeping active as a triathlete, enjoying the outdoors, reading, spending time with family and friends, and exploring all the beautiful experiences Western Australia has to offer.

My Approach

My approach falls more to cognitive-based therapies (e.g. CBT) and prioritises the active construction of a well-lived life over mere passive symptom management. I believe in a client's active participation in their own growth, whilst providing reflective feedback points and interventions that are evidence-based. My therapy style is more directive (but still collaborative), with flexibility to allow clients to become vulnerable about the struggles they are facing.
