Hi, I'm Jade

I’m Jade, a warm and friendly psychologist passionate about helping you better understand yourself and navigate life’s challenges. I support children, young people and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional difficulties, challenging thought patterns and life transitions. My aim is to create a supportive space where you feel understood, empowered and equipped to move forward.

I’m a psychologist who values creating genuine, trusting relationships with the people I work with. I believe that feeling comfortable, understood and listened to is an important part of therapy, and I take the time to understand each person as an individual, including their experiences, strengths, challenges and goals.

I work with children, adolescents and adults across a range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, emotional difficulties, burnout, self-confidence, life transitions, personal growth and navigating life with a disability.

Before becoming a psychologist, I worked as a primary school teacher, giving me extensive experience supporting children and young people and a strong understanding of child and adolescent development. This experience continues to shape the way I work, particularly my emphasis on building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a space where young people feel respected, heard and comfortable being themselves.

As a psychologist, I have continued to work with people across different stages of life and with a broad range of challenges. I enjoy helping people make sense of their experiences, understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and develop strategies that can support them in everyday life.

Whether you are coming to therapy because you are struggling with something specific or simply feel ready for a change, I aim to meet you where you are and work alongside you towards meaningful change.

My Approach

My approach is warm, gentle, collaborative and reflective. I believe therapy should be tailored to you rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what you need, sessions can be structured and goal-focused, with practical strategies and clear direction, or more open and reflective, giving you space to explore your thoughts and experiences. I draw on evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy and exposure-based approaches. I aim to provide thoughtful guidance while helping you develop the understanding, skills and confidence to navigate challenges in a way that feels right for you.
