Hi, I'm Lidia

Hello, you!

I hope to be able to provide or redirect you to accessing the support you need and deserve.

I am an outgoing and enthusiastic early career psychologist who strongly believes every person deserves to have a dedicated therapist by their side. I am passionate about personal growth, and nurturing the parts of self that need it most in order to move forward in the direction you would like to go. Together we explore the cognitive, behavioural and emotional tools you may need in order to overcome the challenges life throws at you.

My academic and professional training has taken me from Adelaide to Townsville, all the way down to Tasmania where I have spent the past 5 years. My clinical experience includes providing both face-to-face and telehealth therapy to individuals across the life-span in mainly private practice and rural communities. I’m familiar with the severe and complex mental health issues faced intergenerationally in different communities and populations, employment assistance programs and unemployment, perinatal mental health, workers compensation and closely with the Tasmanian Police Force and first responders.

My Approach

I've been described as a passionate, enthusiastic, empathic and robust clinician amongst my peers and clients. My therapeutic approach is consistently client-centred, my non-judgemental and understanding nature allows me to empathise deeply and I am not afraid of gently challenging you to explore your deeper selves when we feel safe to do so!

Evidence-based intervention that I competently provide are within the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) frameworks. This includes mindfulness and positive psychology based strategies, trauma-focussed CBT (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills.

Together we explore the cognitive, behavioural and emotional tools you may need in order to overcome the challenges life throws at you.
