I am a registered Psychologist and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology.
I am warm, down to earth and compassionate with 20 years experience of Psychology. I am an Academic, Psychologist and Human Rights Activist. My passion is to share knowledge so every person can experience safety, truth, freedom, health and wellbeing. I have taught Psychology to children at school and to adults at university. I provide counselling to a range of individuals with simple or complex needs.
Human rights are vital for survival and wellbeing. I advocate for all human rights. This is outlined in the 2021 Human Rights Watch World Report: Australia, such as First Nations Australians and refugees seeking asylum. I have a lived experience of mental illness: I have recovered from Psychosis twice. I share effective pathways for recovery. I am passionate, pragmatic, optimistic and hopeful.
I share a body, mind, social connection, culture, country and spirituality framework of protectors for survival and wellbeing. I share trauma informed tools to help people establish safety and stabilisation, to enhance their perception of reality, and to learn to regulate their emotions. This results in stability, clarity and a sense of connection and belonging.
Clarity means to see things clearly. The byproduct of clarity is peace. Joy is peace dancing. With clarity we find peace, joy, love, compassion, blissfulness and ecstasy. This work is based on Neuroplasticity, Client Centred Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Power Threat Meaning Framework. The 21st century needs people like you and I to break the cycle of injustice and trauma together: the negative operation of power.
My vision is a trauma informed world.

‘I Have a Crazy Beautiful Story About Psychosis’ is dedicated to Tharnicaa and Kopika; two faces that remind us everyday of Australia’s cruel and unlawful refugee policy. One of many systems in Australia that remind us of the negative operation of power.
