Hi, I'm Myrelle

I am a warm and collaborative psychologist, and my aim is to help you commence your therapeutic journey and reach your goals in a respectful and non-judgemental environment.

I have experience working with both adults and children across a range of settings including, acute adult mental health and crisis services, community mental health services, private practice, private hospitals, group therapy and within the school setting. I have a particular interest in working young adults in transitional periods of their lives, and trying to help them achieve a balance and their true potential.

My Approach

I utilise a range of therapy modalities in my treatments including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focussed Therapy and mindfulness based interventions. I also like to integrate in my sessions different theoretical frameworks including attachment, family systems, positive psychology, and individual strengths and values. I offer both short and longer term support, always ensuring that the client's goals for therapy are considered.
