Are you Self Managed?
If your NDIS funding is Self Managed you can get started by browsing our NDIS Psychologists.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the NDIS does fund psychology services when the support improves the participant’s quality of life. The NDIS will cover psychology services when the support aligns with the participant’s NDIS funded plan and is related to their disability.
The NDIS will provide funding for psychology services for those who:
- Are Australian and under 65 years of age.
- Have a diagnosed disability, or permanent disability which impacts their life significantly.
- Require support in their everyday life.
- Would benefit from psychology services if it assists with daily life, improves their daily living skills, or improves their relationships.
You can get NDIS funds for your mental health when you have a mental illness or psychosocial disability that is impacting your quality of life.
The NDIS may approve funding for psychology services when the support you need improves your daily living skills. This includes increasing independence; improving social and communication skills, or supporting your behaviour.
If your mental health needs are clinical, the NDIS is not responsible for your funding. For example, diagnosing or prescribing medicine for a mental health condition would not meet NDIS funding criteria.
If your NDIS funding is Self Managed, your psychology session fees will be paid directly to My Mirror, which can be reimbursed using your NDIS funding.
If you are an NDIS Plan Manager, the My Mirror invoice will be sent directly to you after the participant has completed their psychology session.
