Hi, I'm Saadatun (Monon)

Hello!
My name is Monon (Pronounced Mon-on),
I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience across a variety of settings including telehealth, face-to-face individual and group therapy across community and private settings.

I am a warm, open, humorous and collaborative clinician with experience and a passion for working with clients across the lifespan. My goal is to meet you where you are, and work together to help you overcome challenges and grow through difficult times.

My Approach

I aim to provide an individually tailored and evidence-based approach help individuals better understand themselves, their difficulties and manage their responses in a way that works for them.

I have worked with different presentations including anxiety and mood difficulties, life transitions, workplace and study stress, relationship and communication difficulties, sleeping problems, self-esteem issues, trauma and health difficulties.

While I enjoy working with individuals across the population, I take a special interest in working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) populations and have experience working with individuals from indigenous and immigrant backgrounds.

I primarily work within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) frameworks. These approaches empower clients to develop a greater understanding of their thoughts, feelings and actions, their impacts, and encourage the development of new and valued ways of responding.
