Hi, I'm Saadatun (Monon)

I am a General Psychologist with experience in a variety of settings including telehealth, face-to-face individual and group therapy, research and hospital settings with a Masters of Clinical Psychology.

I am a warm, open, humorous and collaborative clinician with experience and a passion for working with clients across the lifespan. My goal is to meet you where you are, and work together to help you overcome challenges, grow and journey through difficult times.

My Approach

I aim to provide an individually tailored and evidence-based approach work together to implement strategies that help individuals better understand themselves, their difficulties and manage their responses in a way that works for them.

I have worked with many different types of issues including anxiety and mood difficulties, life transitions, workplace and study stress, relationship and communication difficulties, sleeping problems, self-esteem issues and health difficulties.

While I have worked across various population settings, I take a special interest in working with the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) populations and have experience working with individuals with indigenous and immigrant backgrounds.

I primarily work within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) frameworks. These approaches empower clients to develop a greater understanding of their thoughts, feelings and actions, their impacts, and developing new and helpful ways of responding. I also use elements of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Solutions Focussed Therapy.
