Hi, I'm Sandra

My aim is to work collaboratively with my clients to enable them to have access to their best resources. The therapeutic relationship becomes a safe space which allows a deeper exploration and understanding.

I have over three decades of experience working with children, adults and elderly in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community health services and private practice. I have extensive experience in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. I like to create a space where people can feel safe in opening up, where they can feel free to cry and laugh, while learning more about themselves.

My Approach

I use a number of interventions, including a psychodynamic framework, which explores past relationships and experiences, but tailor it to the specific needs of my clients. When found appropriate, I draw from best practice evidence-based therapies and short-term approaches. This team work makes it possible to identify and achieve prominent goals, thus enhancing the client’s sense of wellbeing.
