Hi, I'm Sean

I’m a registered psychologist with broad experience across public and private settings, including correctional, mental health, and telehealth services. I work with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, trauma, identity challenges, and life transitions. My style is warm, practical, and reflective, helping clients feel understood while building meaningful, sustainable change.

I’ve worked with people from many different backgrounds and understand that life can become complicated quickly—through stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, trauma, identity concerns, grief, or major life changes.

My approach is grounded, respectful, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure where to start. We work together to make sense of what is happening, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build practical ways forward.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centred therapy, while adapting sessions to suit the individual rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model. Some clients want practical strategies and structure; others need space to reflect, process, and be heard. Most people benefit from a mix of both.

I have a particular interest in supporting adults navigating high stress lives, overthinking, emotional disconnection, identity issues, self-worth struggles, and the impact of difficult past experiences. I also work well with clients who may have avoided therapy previously or felt misunderstood in the past.

My style is warm, practical, and honest. I value real conversations, clear direction when helpful, and helping clients build insight that translates into meaningful change outside the therapy room. Therapy does not need to be perfect or polished to be useful—it just needs to be a place where progress can begin.
