Hi, I'm Sergio

I’m passionate about what I do as a psychologist. My enthusiasm for psychology began when I became aware of how complex and fascinating we humans are. We are a mystery in so many ways and exploring ourselves continues to be one of the most sensible and meaningful aspects of the journey through life. Gaining deeper understanding of ourselves can allow us to travel through life with the most fulfilment and harmony possible.

My professional journey started in Portugal, and in 2009 I came to live in Australia. I have worked in different areas, settings and across age groups and presentations. Outside work I am enthusiastic about music and spend time playing guitar and piano and listening to a wide variety of musical genres. I also enjoy playing tennis and taking drives in the countryside. I like to explore and elaborate on existential themes and enjoy polite humour.

My Approach

I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches which are tailored to clients’ needs. Whether the goal is to explore the meaning of human existence, understand brain functioning, address mental health challenges, improve relationships, manage behaviour or build specific skill sets, the foundation is to genuinely listen, accept and embrace. We are all travellers, growing through experiences and no experience is the same.
