Hi, I'm Suvangi

Hello,
My name is Suvangi (Shuv). I am a registered psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in mental health. My approach to therapy is warm and supportive, and I hope to create a safe space for you to work through the psychological difficulties you are experiencing.

My passion for mental health has led me to work in various settings, including working in women’s services, with children, adults, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Throughout my work, I have supported people experiencing a range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, post-trauma, attachment and challenges associated with neurodiversity. I feel that a supportive and safe therapeutic relationship is foundational. In my therapeutic practice, I value empathy, compassion and collaboration with my clients, recognising each person’s individual history and circumstances.

My Approach

I hope to create a warm and supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing your experiences, as we work together to navigate life’s challenges, to help you make sense of your experiences, recognise your strengths and find strategies and tools to support your mental wellbeing.
